Ignacio Javier del Río

Ignacio is responsible for the Assets division of OCP, which manages one of the largest passenger terminals in Spain: Malaga, as well as the megayacht marinas in Malaga and Ibiza.

Before joining OCP, Ignacio managed Melilla’s Port Authority IT division. In this role, he focused on improving productivity through the development and implementation of accounting, ERP, and business intelligence software.

Additionally, he was also a member of the Spanish Delegation to the Trade Facilitation, Customs and Security Committee at the European Sea ports organization (ESPO).

Ignacio holds an MSc degree in computer engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has also completed programs in Port Management and Maritime Transport, and holds an MBA in port management from Puertos del Estado. He has also completed the accounting and finance studies program from IESE.
