These are conclusions drawn from the report 'Objective 2030: Towards 100% electrification of Spanish ports, prepared by the maritime consultancy Ocean Capital Partners (OCP). The adaptation of port infrastructures to the new sustainable reality comes from the European regulations that oblige ports to implement OPS systems in their enclosures before 2030. In the Spanish case, these readjustments will require an investment of approximately 500 million euros for the 48 port entities that make up the port network, according to calculations by Puertos del Estado.
