Spanish Ports Need $5 Billion to Decarbonize

Puertos del Estado has set very ambitious targets in its new strategic framework until 2030 (revisable in 2025). The 28 port authorities (46 ports) have committed to reduce their current carbon footprint by 50%, which means a major investment effort. According to a report prepared by the firm Ocean Capital Partners (OCP), the system will have to invest more than 5 billion if it is to meet its commitments.
