Offshore wind energy is emerging as a real catalyst for the Spanish port system, not only from an energy perspective, but also from a logistical, economic, and reputational perspective. Its development will bring with it a strategic increase in freight traffic, which could range from 72,000 to one million additional tons by 2030, depending on the degree of deployment ultimately achieved.
