The digitization and decarbonization of Spanish ports will raise the Spanish GDP by about 27,300 million euros per year by the development of the plan included in the Integrated Mobility Data Space (EDIM). According to Ocean Infrastructures Management (OIM), the consulting firm of Ocean Capital Partners (OCP), with the comprehensive electrification of Spanish ports CO2 emissions would be reduced by up to 65 %, which would mean cutting total emissions by some 600,000 tons and savings of up to 50 million euros.
